Life as a model is colorful and exciting. Still, it can be really annoying at times. Why?
In addition to the photographer, a whole team of beauty professionals is part of the photo shoot. I am your job. My makeup, my hair, my styling. I'm practically your barbie doll. Stylists for make-up, hair and clothes pluck, brush, style, spray, powder me. That only stops when the job is done. So at the end of the day.
When I'm in front of the camera, I need above all: composure, patience, discipline and flexibility. Because one of my beauty sitters can jump into the picture at any time, regardless of whether a particularly intimate moment has just arisen between the camera and me.
Berührungsängste sind ein ‚no go’ in meinem Job. Zack streicht ein Puderpinsel über mein Gesicht, eine Hand ordnet eine Strähne neu, zupft meine Kleidung zurecht, Lippen werden nachgezogen, Augenbrauen erneut in Form gebürstet. Denn selbst das beste Bild von MIR nützt dem Kunden nichts, wenn sein Produkt verrutscht, schief, faltig an mir dran hängt, oder mein Gesicht glänzt und meine Haare in sich zusammen gefallen sind. Ein gutes Foto ist eben immer eine Kombination aus allem.
Beim nächsten Kameraklick heißt es für mich dann, schnell wieder den „Schalter umlegen“, störende Gedanken zur Seite wischen, rein in die richtige Mood, den Flow, das ganz besondere Feeling, das der Fotograf in meinen Augen, meinem Gesicht, meiner Haltung sehen möchte und alles geben was ich dank meines Beauty-Dream-Teams auf sagenhafte Weise immer wieder zum Einsatz bringen kann.
